What makes a man....

....stop blogging for 2 months?? I don't know. I feel like it must no longer be salient. The tried and true keep on trucking and those of us who jumped on the bandwagon are ready to jump off. Where it once was important to tell the whole of the internet about how you spent your time over the weekend is just less important than eating, or breathing, or watching Ugly Betty. Whatever. No declaration, just an obeservation. The time spent blogging has turned into time spent on myspace, or going to high school sporting events, or reading.

Really though, what makes a man start again? Certainly not anyone banging down my door wondering what the heck I am doing. Perhaps a unique experience in life will do it. Yes, that does it. This week I went fishing. I caught a fish worth keeping, and I ate said fish for dinner last night. I am very proud of myself. I didn't know I had it in me, or perhaps it was repressed while living in a land-locked state. At any rate it was highly satisfying. I've included pictures of the before and after below.
