Gone, and forgotten
On friday evening we went down to Crown Center to the free movie friday to view "Breakfast at Tiffany's." It was a lot of fun, the weather was perfect, and the movie was good for a laugh, although I think it was supposed to be serious. The girls that went had dinner together at Stephanies house beforehand. The fellas met them there, and we all departed for the movie. Pulling into the parking garage and reuniting the various cars someone asked, "hey, where's kelly?" WE FORGOT HER AT STEPHANIES!!!! She had run to her car, which was down the street, to grab a blanket, and apparently Amy ignored her. When she returned all the cars were gone. Immediately, 4 of us got out our phones to call her. It was a funny sight. She was pulling into the garage, and thankfully was not mad. We all felt terrible, and I kinda expected her to be sulking. It's a big deal to forget someone I think. The semi-humorous ending to the story is that she and Gina didn't even stay for the movie. They sat down for about 5 minutes and decided they'd had enough. They went to sit in the A/C and enjoy some wine.
The moral of the story is: have a buddy system.
