Makin' like a baby...

Above is a photo of the main street of my new home, Easton, MD. Yeah, I said it, my new home. I am moving next Friday. I got a job with Young Life as a fast track intern/area director. I guess I'll see ya later.

I'm really excited to travel down the path that God is revealing.

I don't know many people East of the Mississippi, so you can expect a lot more this blog soon, although the content might be weepy self-reflection junk.

Come visit; the ocean is nearby.

For those of you that are just finding out now, sorry, I tried to tell everyone I could.

...and headin' out.

What's funny is I just found out tonight that you were leaving and I was getting on here to give you a hard time about not posting about it because I do check it a couple of times a week and its just been this french deal for a while. And here was a post all about it.

I was thinking to myself, what a great thing for my friend! You are going to be amazing at it. Those kids are so lucky to have such a fun and caring person heading their way. I can't wait to hear about all the cool things that happen there. I'm sad that one of the people I've known the longest (and am still friends with) is leaving KC but what an excellent opportunity. I love the ocean so who knows maybe someday I'll take a trip that way.

I don't think I have a day off from either one of my two jobs before you leave so I'm not sure I'll see you before you head out. This makes me sad. Here's a big hug (you have to imagine...). (I'll even leave my link to my blog that I don't give to anyone, yes I know people can get it off of here but just in case you are ever curious about what's going on with me, not that its that exciting...)Love you!
Becky

I of course am thrilled for you and know that you will be an amazing leader but I have to admit that some of my excitement comes from having you closer. We can't wait to hang out on the bay, walk around that cute main street, go to the DC zoo, take a drive to the Atlantic. Ok, so I am VERY excited to have you close, Ethan too!

Yeah! Jay I am so excited for you to join yl world. Wish we would have known - you could have come to 'Ta town, the scenery is pretty close - well, we have houses too anyway. Maybe we'll see you over the summer at some random yl ting - but i'm guessing people out there don't come to CO much for camp. Maybe at the all staff conference in a couple of years?
